The world's curiosity with the 6 year old began at the tender age of two, when Jan made his first foray into the public eye. While hitting during one of his older brother Kadyn’s tennis matches, Jan was spotted by a member of the Sacramento Area Tennis Association (SATA), whom couldn’t believe what he was witnessing. He pulled out his digital camera and made the comment that Jan Silva is going to be the best Tennis player to emerge from Northern California. The photo was then placed in the SATA newsletter that is distributed to all the area tennis clubs in Sacramento. Jan has since been profiled in newspapers, magazines, on the internet, and on televison the world over.
